I think our adjudicator has come to the right conclusion. I’ll explain why. Firstly W didn’t require customers to use their passbooks when withdrawing money or closing accounts. I believe the most likely thing to have happened is the account was closed before Barclays took over W’s accounts.Account closed or refused
