What this decision was about
In the Ombudsman’s words
She also concluded that there was no written evidence that these terms were varied by the bank and she could not conclude the terms had been varied when the account was opened as was suggested by Mrs R. This page summarises the Ombudsman’s published final decision. The document itself is the record: DRN3905515.pdf on financial-ombudsman.org.uk.
The outcome shown is the Ombudsman’s own published classification, not our reading of the text. Nothing here is legal advice, and a decision concerns only the complaint it was made about.
