Tue Nov 05deadline to accept (not the decision date)

What this decision was about
Charges and fees, Credit file reporting
In the Ombudsman’s words
NatWest has already admitted and settled the complaint concerning the charges and interest.Charges and fees
NatWest has also paid Mr D £100 in compensation. This service’s role is to put the consumer back in the position he would have been but for the error. Mr D has provided his credit file and I can see that there are a number of late payments to other banks which could have affected his credit score.Credit file reporting

This page summarises the Ombudsman’s published final decision. The document itself is the record: DRN5236796.pdf on financial-ombudsman.org.uk.
The outcome shown is the Ombudsman’s own published classification, not our reading of the text. Nothing here is legal advice, and a decision concerns only the complaint it was made about.
