The complaint Mr R and Miss R complain about what happened when they asked LONDON & COUNTRY MORTGAGES LIMITED (“L&C”) to support their mortgage application.Mortgage administration
Mr R said he’d tried to escalate the complaint, but L&C didn’t change its mind. Mr R described the impact this had on him, and said that he thought L&C should pay the £600 he had to pay another broker, as well as compensation to recognise the risk to the £3,000 deposit he’d paid, and fair compensation for the distress, anxiety, and deterioration in his mental health that this experience had caused him as a vulnerable customer.Support for vulnerable customers
