In the Ombudsman’s words

Mr A complains about the quality of a used car he acquired through a conditional sale agreement with Moneybarn No. 1 Limited (‘Moneybarn’). Mr A says that there were ongoing problems with the car shortly after he acquired it. He doesn’t think the car is fit for purpose and he would like it repaired, or to have been able to reject it.Product mis-sold

This page summarises the Ombudsman’s published final decision. The document itself is the record: DRN-4936621.pdf on financial-ombudsman.org.uk.

The outcome shown is the Ombudsman’s own published classification, not our reading of the text. Nothing here is legal advice, and a decision concerns only the complaint it was made about.
