In the Ombudsman’s words

Mr H is unhappy Santander UK Plc hasn’t refunded debit card transactions on his current account that he’s reported as unauthorised.Unauthorised transaction
I do accept he was inconvenienced by having to send multiple letters and contact our service to get any response. Considering the impact of this, I think £150 is an appropriate sum.Payment delayed or failed

This page summarises the Ombudsman’s published final decision. The document itself is the record: DRN-3896929.pdf on financial-ombudsman.org.uk.

The outcome shown is the Ombudsman’s own published classification, not our reading of the text. Nothing here is legal advice, and a decision concerns only the complaint it was made about.
