What this decision was about

Funds blocked or frozen, Complaint handling

In the Ombudsman’s words

Mr G also said his account had also been frozen three times.Funds blocked or frozen
I can see that Mr G’s account did receive a payment on 26 February. I understand it can be unpleasant and stressful to be told that lending may be withdrawn, but, although I know that Mr G will disagree, I don’t think that the actions Lloyds took in writing to Mr G about his current account were intended to be threatening in nature.Complaint handling

This page summarises the Ombudsman’s published final decision. The document itself is the record: DRN-3102655.pdf on financial-ombudsman.org.uk.

The outcome shown is the Ombudsman’s own published classification, not our reading of the text. Nothing here is legal advice, and a decision concerns only the complaint it was made about.
