What this decision was about

Complaint handling

In the Ombudsman’s words

It had also sent him a further confirmation letter and replacement card to his home address in January 2019. Mr C said he hadn’t received the letters or the replacement card so Lloyds told him it would cancel the card and send him another one. Lloyds said it didn’t uphold Mr C’s complaint but could see he’d received poor customer service.Complaint handling

This page summarises the Ombudsman’s published final decision. The document itself is the record: DRN0410673.pdf on financial-ombudsman.org.uk.

The outcome shown is the Ombudsman’s own published classification, not our reading of the text. Nothing here is legal advice, and a decision concerns only the complaint it was made about.
