He also said that due to an error by the dealer the immobiliser fitted on the car issued an alarm beep for late payment despite his payment being made on time, explaining this caused him stress and upset as he was on holiday when it happened. He’s asked that the interest on the agreement be recalculated within a range he says represents the standard market rates at the time and believes he should be paid approximately £3,000 in redress.Interest and rates
