The family of the late Mr B (represented by Mr W) complain about the contact they received from Barclays Bank UK PLC trading as Barclaycard in relation to the accounts of the late Mr B, despite them requesting such correspondence to stop given that they were in the process of obtaining a grant of probate.Bereavement and power of attorney
Barclays only updated one of the accounts with Mr W’s details. The other account was updated with “The Executor” using the address held on record for Mr B. Barclays sent letters for both accounts in October 2023 and again in January 2024.Service failure
