Mrs H complained to Creation, she said that she was told by M that the ‘feed in tariff’ (‘FIT’) payments and the savings she would make would cover the cost of the loan repayments.Product mis-sold
Creation told us they received a complaint from Mrs H on 23 July 2021. Creation issued a final response letter dated 20 October 2021. Creation considered Mrs H had brought her claim more than six years after the cause of action occurred under the FCA’s rules on dispute resolution and later Creation said the complaint was too late under the Limitation Act (‘LA’).Complaint handling

This page summarises the Ombudsman’s published final decision. The document itself is the record: DRN-5020729.pdf on financial-ombudsman.org.uk.

The outcome shown is the Ombudsman’s own published classification, not our reading of the text. Nothing here is legal advice, and a decision concerns only the complaint it was made about.
